#STEVEN SLATE TRIGGER 2 TUTORIAL MANUAL#
It isn't Rocket Surgery - have a read of the reaper manual about virtual instruments and MIDI and if that and the instructions tht came with SSD arent enough to get you started, I have a suggestion for a FREE and very helpful basic MIDI primer. Us giving you a do this do that do the other method of getting SSD up and running will not really help you if you don't have at least SOME idea of why you re doing the various steps.

In order to get anywhere at all with drum romplers and the like, you DO need a certain minimum level of knowledge. By your own admission you know nothing about MIDI. You DID follow the instructions on the SSD site exactly to the letter on installing? This is crucial.ģ. was not aware that you needed Kontakt for this "new" version of SSD4 since every other version comes with a player built by SS.Ģ. I have Reaper open, and can access the SSD plugin (but cant load any presets for some reason), and frankly I have no idea what to do here, havent even heard a single drum sample yet.ĭETAILED instructions for a COMPLETE MIDI noob would be much appreciated!ġ. I downloaded the Steven Slate Drums library, and the Kontakt Player. I dont know jack about MIDI, but figured for $20, I could figure it out as I go along.ugh big mistake. Someone here was kind of enough to post a link to a sale for Steven Slate's Essentials.
